Since 1989, some of the leading Italian chemical and microbiological analysis laboratories have entrusted a studio of software development professionals with the creation of an entirely Italian Lims that takes into account the specificities of the sector in Italy, which were not satisfied by the mammoth and rigid software coming from the United States and mainly designed for large pharmaceutical companies.

This led to the birth of Visual Lims (LIMS software), an innovative product developed in a Windows environment with features of speed, simplicity and flexibility impossible to find in other similar products of the time.

The quality of the product meant that in just a few years it was adopted by many other Italian laboratories, and it was to address the growing number of customers and needs to be satisfied that in 1999 Info Team was born.

In early 2000, the company combined the ongoing development and improvement of its laboratory management software with the implementation of a comprehensive Product Control and Quality System for large-scale retail trade. This system is the ideal complement to Visual Lims because it enables complete, two-way communication between laboratories and their key customers (forwarding analysis requests and receiving results and test reports). The software was adopted by leading companies in the sector, such as Conad Italia, Coop Italia, and Selex, quickly proving to be a highly productive tool for both large-scale retail trade and laboratories.

To date, Info Team has developed numerous vertical solutions for Visual Lims, to best meet the needs of sectors such as the Environmental, Food, Wine/Olive Growing, Dairy, Public Company such as ARPA and ATS, and Visual Lims is the undisputed leading software in the sector of analysis on Fruit and Vegetables and Pesticides and on Textiles / Consumer Goods / MOCA, adopted by all the main Italian laboratories in these sectors.
